He married Beatrice (Tassone) Morgnanesi circa 1949 in Trenton, Mercer County, NJ, and they were married until Antonio's death on November 30, 2009 at St. Mary Medical Center 1201 Newtown-Langhorne Rd, in Langhorne, Bucks County, PA. He had a child Deborah Ann Cermele. Antonio Morgnanesi was buried on December 4, 2009 in Hamilton Township, Mercer County, NJ.

    Antonio ''Tony'' James Morgnanesi,85,of Lawrenceville,NJ,passed away peacefully on Monday,November 30,2009,at Saint Mary Medical Center,Langhorne,PA. Born in Trenton,NJ,he resided in Lawrenceville for the past 55 years. Mr. Morgnanesi better known as ''Spinache'', was a US Navy Veteran of World War II and proudly served his country from 1942 to 1946. He was a member of Villa Park Soldiers and Sailors Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He retired in 1985 after five years,working in the State House for the State of New Jersey. He was formerly employed at the Naval Turbine Facility on Parkway Avenue,Ewing Twp., and was co/owner of Andy's Deli on Lawrence Road,Lawrenceville,from 1971 to 1980,where he was a favorite with the locals. Tony was also part of the breakfast group at Fred and Pete's Restaurant,Hamilton Twp. and thoroughly enjoyed the trips to Jersey City,and nothing more important to him then the time spent with his family and friends. Above all he was known for his generous spirit and loving heart,playing Santa Claus year round. Son of the late Giovanni ''John'' and Cecilia Perelli Morgnanesi;and brother of the late, Sadie DeJoseph;he is survived by his loving wife of 60 years,Beatrice Tossane Morgnanesi;his daughter and son-in-law,Deborah and Andrew Cermerle of Lawrenceville,NJ;a brother and sister-in-law,Orlando ''Lanny'' and Kathryn Morgnanesi of Doylestown,PA;his granddaughter,Dr. Andrea Cermerle Marsella and her husband Jon Marsella of Sicklersville,NJ,and many nieces,nephews,great-nieces,and great-nephews,other family members,and special friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday,December 4,2009,at 11:00 a.m.,at the Church of Saint Ann,1253 Lawrence Road,Lawrenceville. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery,Hamilton. Calling hours will be held on Friday morning,from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m.,at the Church of Saint Ann. Memorial contributions may be made ''In memory of Antonio Morgnanesi'' payable to: Mercer County Trust Fund c/o Mercer County Veterans Services,2280 Hamilton Avenue,Hamilton,NJ 08619. Arrangements are under the direction of Frank M. Immordino of the Brenna Funeral Home,340 Hamilton Avenue,Trenton.
