When Ira was a young boy of seven he was playing with a sharp stick, which he put in his mouth. One of his siblings or friend shoved him and he fell on the stick which went through the back of his mouth and out of the back of his neck..Some how he survived, but he ended up with Epilepsy, a short leg and and his left arm and hand did not work well. Most of his life he was taken care of by his parents except the three- to four years he was married to Bonita Jean Lechner. They were divorced when their daughter was 2. After his parents died in sandy Or his siblings took care of him.
