At its peak, it had 150,000 members.

In 1917, by the time he was merely 12 years old, Russian government offices were seized and the Romanov's Winter Palace was stormed in the Russian February and October Revolutions. There were rumors of foul play (some thought that his wife had poisoned him because of his affairs) but no evidence has ever been found.
