My grandparents were my guideposts . They were brilliant and successful by nature but my own personal saviors . Every memory I built to Assist with my own life is built on memories from the original , The Notebook story . A life of true partnership and love . My grandparents , Arthur and Helen . I'd trade any given day to spend just one hour with them again. They are my true heros .

My grandfather ,my Papa, Arthur . Loved his wife , Helen , with all his heart and soul . He was brilliant , an inventor . But his legacy was supposed to be a family full of love . My father , Robert , Arthur's son . My father , decided my grandfathers lot in life should have been exclusively , career , money , and success . His personal resent should prove short as he is estranged from his son and daughter . I , Amanda . Granddaughter of Arthur G. Mirel . Mother of his great granddaughter , Hayley. I plan to follow through with his wish , dream , and ultimate success . A family full of love , conversation and most important , a life that endures and ends with what is important .
