I have a diary signed on the front page by Arthur Harry Meteyards London, July 18th 1850 but written in by my Great Grandfather, Isaac Edward Dyason as he went to the Bendigo Gold Diggings in 1851. In a later diary (1863) he writes:
"Mathew Johnson wanted W. – not in – Had I a few
shillings on me – of course not – Argus – G. Henderson in flute
duets – talked over old times –Meteyard* – S.M - & Chambers’ music"
I was wondering if anyone had any more information on the elder Arthur Meteyard?
