Arthur Joseph Rolland was born on January 14, 1918 in Northampton, Hampshire County, Massachusetts United States to George William Rolland and Melinda Rose (Tessier) Rolland, and had siblings Edna Rose (Rolland) Heon, Verna Elizabeth (Rolland) Bontempo, Leah Marie Rolland, George Francis Rolland, Harvey William Rolland, Ernest John "Earnie" Rolland, Viola Rita (Rolland) Bertrand, Leroy Bernard Rolland, and Martha Lorraine (Rolland) Hayes. He married Frances Madeline Rolland (Née Houghton), and had a child Earl F. "Sonny" Rolland. Arthur Rolland died at age 86 years old on August 8, 2004 in Northampton.
