Introduction

Arthur Linforth Willgoose was born on June 15, 1885, in Derby, England, to Peter Willgoose (1858 - 1931) and Mary Ann Linforth (1858 - 1887). He had two siblings, Frank (1878 - 1965) and Margaret Willgoose. The family immigrated to the United States in 1889, and Arthur became a naturalized citizen. Peter and Mary Ann Willgoose were both born in England and settled in the United States after immigrating. Arthur Willgoose married Anna Hallenbeck Crump (1894 - 1981) on January 20, 1915, and they had two daughters, one of whom was Dorothy Willgoose (1916 - 2004). See Arthur Linforth Willgoose: Obituary.

The following obituary appeared in The Orlando Sentinel (Orlando, Florida) on Tuesday, January 15, 196i3: Willgoose, Mr. Athur L. - Funeral services for Mr. Arthur L. Willgoose, 77, 129 Lucerne Dr., DeBary, will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday at the Enterprise All Saints Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Paul Schultz officiating. Interment will be in DeLand Memorial Gardens, Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, DeLand, is in charge.
