Arthur changed his name some time after arriving in Australia to Arthur McArthur and became an MP. At death he was known as Arthur Trott McArthur. First marriage was to Rosa Jones in 1903, second to Elizabeth Catherine Rogers around 1916, and thirdly to Clare Myrtle Turner on 15th July 1936
Arthur married at least three times, firstly to Rosa Jones, then Elizabeth Kathleen (?) thirdly to Clare (?). He had two twin daughters in 1914 with Rosa, but both died within days of birth. He had a son Donald with Elizabeth. Donald had a son Neil. -
