Astrid Jakobine (Nilssen) Olsen was born in 1889 in Bergen, Bergen County, Hordaland Norway. She was the parent of Eleanor Inga O'Connor (Olsen). She married Halfdan Olsen, and they had children Harry Adolf Olsen, Alf Olai Olsen, and Astrid Mary Olsen. Astrid Olsen died at age 28 years old on June 29, 1918 in Bergen.

This is a picture of my great grandma Astrid Jakobine Olsen from Bergen, Norway.Born 1872 in Bergen died June 29,1918 in Bergen. She died of a heart condition. This is the only photo i have of her so far.

Astrids daughter Elinor Inga Olsen was my Grandmother. born in Bergen, Norway March 1,1910. came on the Bergensfjord ship to Ellis Island at age 9 under the name Ellinor Totland. After Elinor came here on ship she moved to Salt Lake City Utah and met my grandpa Maurice Ethelbert O'Connor. Later married in Redwood City California. They had 9 children. Clara, Maurice, John, Eugene, Gerald, James, Mary Ellen Frank and Robert . They were happily married.
