Note: Although the Social Security Death Index records her birthday as February 6th, 1941, her headstone says that her birth was on February 2nd, 1941 and that she died on September 7th, 1999. Audrey Bellard married Joseph W. St. Julian Sr. on January 1st, 1965 and they had one son, Joseph W. Jr. They divorced on October 3rd, 1983 in Liberty, Texas.

In 1941, in the year that Audrey St Julian was born, on June 25th, President Roosevelt signed Executive Order 8802, prohibiting racial discrimination in the defense industry. EO 8802 was the first federal action to prohibit employment discrimination - without prejudice as to "race, creed, color, or national origin" - in the U.S. Civil Rights groups had planned a march on Washington D.C. to protest for equal rights but with the signing of the Order, they canceled the March.
