My late husband, Barry Clardy, was B.W.'s nephew. We lovingly called him "Uncle B". He was thought well of by all who knew him. A good man.

General Farmer and laborer at the feed mill.

His father passed away in 1932, when B.W. was 24. He cared for his mother and worked the farm. Heated with coal grates. He always wore overalls. He loved to have family come and visit and lived to talk. Enjoyed U.K. basketball. In fact he died listening to the U.K. vs. U of L game on the radio, in his nephews car, on the way from Greenville to Belton to watch the game with his friends at the feed mill.
