Barbara Jean Hill Mosley, 69, of Cleveland, Texas went to be with her heavenly father on December 10, 2009 at 6:46 AM. Barbara was born on April 4, 1940 to John and Juel Hill, in Houston, Texas. She was one of two children. She went to school at Galena Park High School. She married the love of her life, William (Billy) Mosley on March 22, 1956. Together they had five children, Catherine Denise Mosley, Bobbie Diane Clark, William (Butch) Mosley Jr., Shanna Darlette Mosley, and Shawn Darlene Lollar. She and Billy lived in Channelview for many years and were finally able to realize one of their dreams and retired to the “Catfish Farm”. She loved her family with all of her heart and soul. She believed very strongly in the bible and its teachings and tried very hard to live a Christian life. She constantly prayed that God would take care of her family and friends. She got to travel a little and go on a cruise a few years ago with Billy and had a wonderful time even though her health limited her activity and did not allow her to do as much as she would have liked. She always wanted to go on another cruise. Barbara fulfilled another of her life’s dreams when she graduated from San Jacinto College North with a certificate of Technology in Licensed Vocational Nursing. Barbara wasn’t able to get around very well for the last several years because of a painful illness, but she enjoyed having everyone over at her house. Especially for the holiday season. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, John Pierce and Juel LV Hill, her brother Joseph Edward Hill and her daughter Shanna Darlette Mosley. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William (Billy) Alvin Mosley, daughter Catherine Denise Mosley, daughter Bobbie Diane Clark, Son William Alvin (Butch) Mosley Jr and wife Sherry, daughter Shawn Darlene Lollar and husband Wade.
