My father, Delbert Raymond Hill, 18 years old. The son of Ellen (Miller) Hill and Lincoln Hill. He entered the Army at Fort Thomas, KY and was sent to New Guinea, Southern Philippines, Luzon. Decoration: American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic - Pacific Theater Ribbon, with 3 Bronze Stars, Victory Medal, Good Conduct Ribbon.
