My Grandma was the most HARD WORKING woman I have ever known! My Grandma was the most INTELLIGENT woman I have ever known! My Grandma had the STRENGTH & WILL POWER of ten men! My Grandma NEVER GAVE UP & SHE NEVER LET ANYTHING OR ANYONE STAND IN HER WAY OF ACHIEVING WHAT SHE WANTED! My Grandma had many talents including: playing the Organ, marvelous seemstress, (although not her profession) there is no one wgo could make better sausage biscuits & gravy then my Grandma! She loved o travel and play cards. She made hundreds and hundreds of beautiful arts and crafts but she flower arrangements & her dress making were by far her what she was known for.
My Grandma was born Barbar Lee Ziegler. She later married and became Barbara Lee Inlow. She had 3 children Kenny who sadly died as a young child. David & Theresa. (Theresa is my Momma) She was not married for long. She divorced and became & stayed a single mother. She provided very well for her children. They were always her priority. My Grandma was a loving but stern women. She said what she ment & she ment whst she said. When her mind was made up that was it. She was firm but fair and you always knew where you stood with her. For many many years my Grandma was Head of Human Resources for the American Academy of Family Physicians. I loved etting to go see her at work. I still remember her phone extension. 5606!
She was the best Grandma. No matter day or night, no matter how young I was or old even after I was grown and had children of my own, first thing I did after giving my Grandma a hug hello was head right for the freezer where there was always some kind of ice cream in there just waiting for me.
I love my Grandma so very much! I miss her more then anything. I wish everyone in the world would have been able to know her. For those of you who didn't know her you really missed out on a very special & important Lady. She was classy, she had charm, her morals & priorities can be matched by no other.
Grandma, we all love you so much. We all miss you so much. You were the glue that kept us together. Without you we have all fallen apart. We should have listened to you closer & followed your direction better. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of you, and miss you. Thank you Grandma for everything you did for me & everything that you taught me. You are the best Grandma in the world!
