Introduction

My Father, Barna, was born in Hungary in 1926. He was one of 5 brothers. He told me that his father Joseph passed away when he was about 9 years old. He began making shoes for a living. His first marriage lasted only about 6 months. He later married Bara Margit in I think, 1953. I (Barna aka Barney) was born in 1955 in Miskolc and we migrated to Australia in 1958, shortly after the Hungarian uprising and just over a 12 months stay in Austria. Barna passed away in 2006 from prostate cancer. I have one brother, Ferenc (Frank)
