On October 1, 1977 at the age of 19, he married Donna L Ledogar (1956-) in Killingly, Windham, Connecticut, USA. The couple had two sons together. Barry and Donna later divorced in 1987 in Plainfield, Connecticut. Barry later moved to Southern California where he resided in Oceanside, CA. He passed away on August 31, 2010 in Temecula, CA.
