My Best Friend
Barry and I (Pat Krejci) grew up together. Usually if you saw him, I was there and vice versa.
He had great parents and brother and sisters.
I remember doing thigs with his dad, or Blake or Toni.
They opened their house and hearts up to me, and Barry knew he was a part of my family too.
We swam in swim team at Jones Park from the age of 7 on.
We were in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts together.
We were always camping out all summer in his back yard or mine.
I always looked up to Blake as a great baseball player, and Barry's sisters were always very pretty.
We lost contact when I moved to California, but somehow, we would find each other's phone number.
We would call and catch up on what's going on.
I moved back to Iowa in 1993, and at the time he was living in Arkansas.
I wish we would have reconnected when he moved back to Iowa.
He was a good friend, and will be dearly missed.
The memories, never forgotten.
I wish Blake, Toni, Cindy and Pam my best and hope they are doing well and are in good health.
