Holland is very often (incorrectly!) used as a synonym for the Netherlands.
Sevenaer actually is not in Holland: up to 1816 the town was part of the Duchy of Cleves and was part of Germany (Brandenburg/Prussia).
Nowadays Zevenaar is situated in the Gelderland province of the Netherlands.
