Bartholomew Ring was born circa 1831 in Co Corke, Ireland County to Charles Ring and Julia Coleman. Bartholomew's partner was Sarah Jane Arlow. Bartholomew's partner was Sarah Jane Arlow, and they had children Elizabeth (Ring) Gerdes, Eva Jemima Ring Gerdes, and Edith Violet (Ring) Gerdes.
