Bela Csonka of Phoenix, Maricopa County, AZ was born on April 14, 1937 in Budapest Hungary to Ilona Csonka and Albert csonka. He had siblings Geza csonka, Lila kalifah, and John csonka. He married Sharron Csonka in Buffalo, Erie County, New York United States, and had children Stephen Csonka, Elizabeth folz, and John csonka. Bela Csonka died at age 71 years old on January 2, 2009.

    Bela was Hungarian. His family was a famous one in Hungary. His grandfather had the first international patent for the carburetor in 1892 named Csonka Jànos. Also started a car business and made vehicles for the civic uses like motorized mail trikes and ambulances. The family came to the US after the 1956 revolution.

    Bela was one of the top mechanical engineers on the country. 2 stroke engines were his specialty and had patents at many companies. Hunter fans was one. Ariens was another where he was VP there. He was director of engineering at ryobi and Baird-Poulan Weed eater. He worked ar rotron and also had his own consulting company. BIC consulting. He was known for his ethics. A member of ASME and international weights and standards.

Did you know?
In 1937, in the year that Bela Csonka was born, on May 6th, the German zeppelin the Hindenburg caught fire and blew up. The Hindenburg was a passenger ship traveling to Frankfurt Germany. It tried to dock in New Jersey, one of the stops, and something went wrong - it blew up. Thirty-six people were killed out of the 97 on board - 13 passengers, 22 crewmen, and one ground worker. The reasons for the explosion are still disputed.

In 1943, at the age of only 6 years old, Bela was alive when on September 3rd, the Armistice of Cassibile was signed in Sicily. Under the terms of the Armistice, Italy surrendered to the Allied Powers. After the Armistice was made public on September 8th, Germany attacked and occupied Italy. It took 20 months of fighting for the Allies to reach the northern borders of Italy.
