As of the 1865 Norwegian Census, Bergljot Lie was single / never-married. She had a son, Endre, who was shunned by her family and was forced to give Endre a different surname (he was born out of wedlock and the family in the 1920'ies up until current day would have nothing to do with her or her b****** son. She almost drowned herself from the horrible treatment by her close family). My grandfathers name thus became Endre Lie Nilssen (her spouse-to-be just suddenly left her totally alone but as I wrote earlier her immediate family forced her to give her newborn son the surname of the man that had left my great grandmother). Endre had a tough time when he was young, being treated badly and scorned by his relatives (just as his mother was). He married Dagmar Olsen who he got two daughters with. In 1968 he moved to the south west coast of Sweden to work at the big iron mill in Halmstad and took his family (including Berglijot) with him, bought a house in a rural setting.
