Bernard Goss died at age 73 years old on June 26, 1908 in Woodstock, VIC Australia, and was buried in July 1908 in Epping Cemetery.

    -The Kilmore Free Press, Thu 2 July 1908.- ...OBITUARY. Many old friends will mourn the death of Mr. Bernard Goss, which sad event occurred on Friday last at Woodstock. Deceased gentleman had been ailing sometime and was 74 years of age, being a colonist of 53 years standing. He was a man well esteemed and was a native of Queen's County, Ireland. .The Weekly Times, Melbourne. July 4, 1908. Mr. Bernard Goss, of Bald Hill, Donnybrook, died a few days ago. He was a well known breeder of draught horses, and a large landholder in the district. .The Argus, Melbourne. Sat. 27 June, 1908. GOSS.- On the 26th June, at "Bald Hill," Woodstock, after a long and painful illness, Bernard, the dearly loved husband of Catherine Goss ( a native of Ballinakill, Queen's County, Ireland, aged 74 years. A colonist of 53 years. R.I.P. The Advocate, Melbourne. Sat 4 July, 1908. .DEATH OF MR. BERNARD GOSS. We regret to announce the death of Mr. Bernard Goss, of "Bald Hill," Donnybrook, the well known judge and succesful breeder of draught horses. He took many prizes, including a first and champion at the Royal Agricultural Show. He was one of the largest land owners in the Woodstock district. Mr. Goss was born in Ballinakill, Queen's County, Ireland, where his relations were all noted breeders of draught and blood stock. He leaves a large family. R.I.P.
