    Beth Cordner Duering, died on March 17, 2001. Born on July 8, 1925 in Orem, Utah to Jesse W. and Jen Ferguson Codner. Married Richard D. Duering July 20, 1946. Marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple, August 27, 1967. A Utah artist, a charter member of the Intermountain Society of Artists, Associate member of the American Watercolor Society and the Utah Watercolor Society. She served in the presidency of the Salt Lake Art Center Guild. She won many prizes and awards for her paintings, which are represented in many private collections. She was also a poet and published author. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors: Husband, Richard D. Duering; sons, Dennis R., Kin D., Brent C.; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; brothers: Blaine Cordner, Dean Cordner; sisters: June Olsen, Diane Limberg, Peggy Cordner. Services will be held at the Parley's 2nd Ward, 2350 So. 2100 East, Salt Lake City, UT Wednesday, March 21, 2001. Family greeting will begin at 10 a.m. Services at 11 a.m.
