Betty was the most devoted and loving Aunt to Madonna and Janes, and sister to her brother, John. She and her husband, Robert P. Murkshe, the one time mayor of Cocoa Beach, were very active in their community assisting with issues of beach erosion, the library, the police department and their fellow Space Pioneers and Merrymakers!
