  • Introduction

    She loved her grandchildren & she loved to golf. Betty insisted to be called "Betts" and divorced Thomas Albert Polatty in 1978. She moved from Chatsworth, Calif to Santa Cruz, Calif. to be near her daughter Peri Polatty Searson who was attending college. Betts fell in love with Santa Cruz and lived many happy years there. She had many friends and even started a social club, "The Good Times Club" with these friends that lasted many years. She worked full time as a medical assistant to Dr. Evan Tarsky, Podiatrist and travelled the world. Betts saw many countries and some of her favorites were Turkey, Japan, Africa (where she went on several safaris as she loved the large animals). She also enjoyed coming back to the midwest to visit her birthplace of Sheboygan and seeing her daughter Lisa Page Polatty Gardino and grandchildren, Christopher Thomas & Shauna Leigh. Her Calif. grandkids Andrew David and Stephanie Ann were very present in her life and she even took Steffi to Costa Rica on a trip.
