    Her parents, James Elias Huff and Verna Esther Andrew, we’re from Iowa and moved to Boise, Idaho. Her grandparents on her father’s side were Bartlet Jonathon Huff and Lewis Morris. He was a coal miner from Missouri and she was of celebrated stock from New England. The Huffs derived from Germany through Virginia and Missouri and married into a prominent Millsaps line from Northern Ireland. Lewa Morris was the granddaughter of Elias Wallace Starr of the prominent Starr family of New England. He was a descendant of Dr. Comfort Starr who came to America on the Mayflower in 1634. His son and our direct descendant, John Starr, came over on the Hercules later. They originated in Kent, England, and settled in Boston, Massachusetts. John Starr married Martha Bunker whose father, John Bunker, purchased Bunker Hill of Revolutionary War fame. The family had moved away by the time of the Battle of Bunker Hill. The Bunkers were from Bedfordshire, England.
