    Born to Robert C. and Dorothy (Moody) Hornbuckle. Betty first married George Sebree, Sr. Together, they had three children, Jann, George, Jr and Stephen. In 1955 she married Ralph H. Shoemaker. Together, they had three children, Gregory, Jill and Joy. At the time of her passing, Betty had 26 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her husband Ralph H. Shoemaker in 2019, son Stephen B. Sebree i 2004 and one brother.
