    The Rhinebeck Gazette Rhinebeck, New York December 24, 1953 Page 5 Miss Beverly Arlene Barringer, daughter of Burton Barringer of Mulford avenue, Staatsburg, an intermediate student nurse at Vassar Brothers Hospital School of Nursing in Poughkeepsie, has recently gone to Hudson River State Hospital on affiliation. Each student nurse at Vassar Hospital receives three months specialized training in the treatment of mentally ill patients as part of her three-year course of preparation for professional nursing.
