Billie Joe Montgomery of Prague, Lincoln County, OK was born on April 13, 1925 in Eufaula, McIntosh County. He was married to Lyla Lee (Cox) Montgomery and they later divorced. He had children Maeline Kay (Montgomery ) Smith, Ashley T Bruce, Brookelynn Smith, Billy Joe Bruce11, and Candice Nichole Ertman. Billie Joe Montgomery died at age 79 years old on June 7, 2004 in Prague, Lincoln County, and was buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula, McIntosh County.
