He married Sandra K Puckett, and had children Andrea Michelle Obanion, Brandy Michelle Obanion, Joseph Ryan Obanion, and Two Miscarriages. Bob Obanion died at age 58 years old on August 11, 2008 in Chesterfield, Macomb County, MI, and was buried on August 15, 2008 at great lakes cemetery in Holly, Oakland County.
