Bobby Joe Mealer was born in 1942 in Alabama United States to Ella M Mealer and Joseph Aaron Mealer. He married Betty Rachel (Marcum) Dye on February 14, 1971 in Illinois and they later divorced in 1978 in Kentucky. They had children Susan Rae (Mealer) Rodgers and Anthony Wayne Mealer. He would also marry Linda Lue (Clark) Finley on June 15, 1979 in Virginia, and they were married until Bobby's death in 2015.
