Interesting to come across your memories. I knew Brian from 2002 until 2006, while he lived in Utah. He had told me that he had been married twice before, but never mentioned a son. Its very sad that they were not a part of each others lives.
We had a lot of fun memories together. Never would I have guessed that his life would end the way that it did. In the time that I knew him, he did drink, but he never seemed to struggle with it. Nor was he ever a mean drunk, or abusive in any way. It seems that he didnt escape that, after all, however.
On the 10 year anniversary, I was looking to see if any burial information had ever been recorded. I reached out to his sister several years ago to ask, but never heard anything back.
I hope you, and his son, are doing well.
