    The Examiner, Launceston. 31st December 1945. - HOBART DROWNING. Brightie Gladys McKenna ( 48 ), a widow, of Hobart, was found drowned at Castray Esplanade, River Derwent, yesterday morning. Evidence at an inquest opened before the coroner ( Col. J. P. Clark ) disclosed that the woman had been discharged a few weeks ago from hospital.
