Bruno Robert Chiti of New Berlin, Waukesha County, Wisconsin United States was born on February 16, 1918 in Republic, Fayette County, PA to Gerardo Benedetto Antonio Chiti and Germana Masselli. He had siblings Jean Josephine (Chiti) and Neva Anne (Chiti). He married Beulah Arlene (Cochrane) on December 1, 1945 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, and they were married until death separated them. He had children Dennis Arthur Chiti and Jane Patricia Chiti. Bruno Chiti died at age 82 years old on July 17, 2000 in New Berlin, Waukesha County, and was buried on July 21, 2000 at Wisconsin Memorial Park Inc. 13235 W Capitol Dr, in Brookfield.

While it was rumored that two of the children had survived, it was later proven through DNA analysis - when their bodies were found - that the entire family had been killed.

In 1920, at the age of merely 2 years old, Bruno was alive when on January 1, over 6000 people were arrested and put in prison because they were suspected of being communists. . Many had to be released in a few weeks and only 3 guns were found in their homes. The U.S. Department of Justice "red hunt" netted thousands of "radicals" and suspected "communists" and aliens were deported. But the "hunt" ended after Attorney General Palmer forecast a massive radical uprising on May Day and the day passed without incident.
