Bryce Gervan Clive was born circa 1894 to Peter David Galloway Clive and Elspeth Souter, and had siblings Stewart Maxwell Clive, Margaret Grace Clive, James Clive, Peter David Galloway Clive, Jessie Annie Clive, Herbert Clive, and Elsie Ann Clive. Bryce Clive died at age 21 years old on October 2, 1916, and was buried at Heilly Station Cemetery Mericourt-l'abbe in France.
