He leaves behind two sons Robert and Justin Couturier.He was a great man who would help anyone in need. He lived out the last 20 years of his life dealing with a spinal injury that rendered him paralyzed but never let it get him down.

My father was my was a strict man a great father figure. He always had great advice from a lot of personal experience. He was not only my dad but my best friend, we could talk about anything and enjoyed each others company. He was taken advantage of by many so called friends in which in helped me learn that the world is a rough place and to question everything. I owe everything to this man for the person I have become today because if it wasn't for him I would be lost today.
