He was also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

    Corum - B. JAMES "JIM" TEED, 77, of Corum, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, in Lawton. Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel, Lawton, with Bro. Jack Greenwood, pastor of Hastings Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Jim was born May 8, 1930, in Strawberry Point, Iowa, to Elmer and Henrietta Mae Priest Teed. He grew up in Iowa and graduated from Manchester High School. He joined the United States Army and served in the Korean Conflict. After the military, he worked as an illustrator for civil service at Fort Sill until his retirement. After his retirement, he and his son owned and operated "The Van," customizing vans in Lawton and Tulsa. He married Peggy Ann Long in 1950, and later married Frances E. Nease-Blair on Aug.10, 1969, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He and his wife moved to Corum in April 2007. Jim was a Cub Scout leader, and his hobbies included building model construction equipment and woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Frances of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger D. and Mary Teed, Bixby, and Mark R. and Stephanie Teed, The Woodlands, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa M. and Jim Hill, Comanche; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Merle and Betty Teed, Palo, Iowa, and Roger Teed, Warwick; two sisters, Hilda Gilson, Aurora, Iowa; and Marilyn Carolan, Toddville, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
