A lifelong resident of Herman, Nebraska, Carl Mengedoht was a farmer. Carl Mengedoht married Dorothy Krupicka (born 1926) in 1952. He was survived by a son, Jan, and a daughter, Trudy.     CARL MENGEDOHT HERMAN - Carl Mengedoht, 73, of rural Herman, died Friday, May 29, 1998 at his home. Mengedoht was born October 12, 1924, on the fajily farm at rural Herman. He was a farmer and lifetime resident of the Herman area. Survivors include: a son, Jan Mengedoht of Herman; and a daughter, Trudy Mengedoht of Fremont. A private graveside service was May 31 at Herman Cemetery. The Reverend David Loeschen officated. Rozanek and Son Colonial Chapel in Fremont was in charge of arrangements. - Fremont Tribune (Fremont, Nebraska) Thursday, June 4, 1998 on page 2.
