  • Introduction

    Carol was born as Carol Ann Lozen to Cecil Arthur and Norma Hildegarde Lozen. She grew up in Redford township, Michigan, attended Lutheran grade schools and Cody High School. She married Buddy James Fazzio on September 6, 1963 and worked for JL Hudson Company in the office for 3 years, and later Grover Transit Tubes until 1967 when she gave birth to Buddy James Fazzio junior and in 1969 Richard Andrew Fazzio. They lived in Montgomery Alabama for 6 months when Buddy James Fazzio Sr. pursued a career selling Holiday Magic products which turned out to be a pyramid company and they moved back to Michigan. Carol moved with the boys in 1974 to Midland, Texas where her parents lived and worked for Ranchland Hill Country Club, MHMR and later Union Oil Company. In 1979 Carol divorced Buddy James Fazzio. She worked 2 jobs in order to provide for the boys. In 1984 she meet Charles Smith and married shortly thereafter but divorced 4 months later. In 1988 she met Raymond Cook and they married on May 26, 1989. She worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for 6 years until the Corporation left the Midland area in 1990. She worked in the oil and gas energy field in various accounting positions and was a Land Coordinator for 8 years at COG Operating beginning in 2009 until she retired in 2017 but went back to work for 6 months through a temp agency. Her interests include drawing (having 5 cartoons published in a Contest Newsletter), contesting, reading non-fiction books by authors such as Danielle Steel, David Baldachi, and Nora Roberts. She completed several correspondence writing courses.

Soldiers from the United States, Britain, Canada, and the Free French landed on Normandy Beach and were later joined by Poland, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Greece, and the Netherlands.
