    The following obituary appeared in the Arizona Republic on January 24, 1987, a Saturday, on page 18: Carol H. Otterman, 81, a Glendale homemaker, died Jan. 22, 1987, in Glendale. Survivors include her husband, Harold B.; daughter, Joan H. Linkletter; and sons, Harold B. J., and William D. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m. Sunday at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Monday at OUr Lady of Perpetual Help catholic Church, 5614 Q. Orangewood.

(Women in Australia and New Zealand already had that right but couldn't run for office.) Although Finland belonged to the Russian Empire, there was great unrest and the Tsar wanted to broker a quick peace. As a part of the brokered peace, women got the vote.

In 1910, she was merely 4 years old when the Mexican revolution began. Dictator Porfirio Díaz had ruled for 35 years and was nationally unpopular. When elections were held in 1910 and a rigged election kept Diaz in office. The uprising began - and lasted for another 10 years.
