A mention of a "Carol Powell" was made during the British comedy tv show Gavin & Stacey who on March 14th 1982 went off to meet a man called "Jocky" and hadn't been seen ever since. "For all I know she could have been sex-trafficked out of here" said Nessa of her first best friend.

Carol A. Powell GREENSBURG, Pa. - Carol A. Powell, 28, of Greensburg, died Sunday morning in Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg, following an auto accident Saturday morning. She was born Sept. 19, 1954, in Germantown, Pa., the daughter of Clarence and Lorraine Emery of Philadelphia. Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, John Thomas Powell, formerly of Urbana; two daughters, Jessica and Megan, at home; and two sisters, Kathryn Young of Dover, Del., and Debra Berger of Erdenheime, Pa. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Barnhart Funeral Home, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, with the Rev.
