Carole Buchanan Cole and I had been close friends since HS. We graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1972. Carole was absolutely brilliant, creative, wise and masterful in her approach to living a healthy and fun life in every respect. We often spoke of her deep interest in Yoga and our mutual love of family and our dogs over the years! Bijou and Baoshi her beautiful doggies were the light of her daily life! Carole loved to dream and share her many lofty goals and grand ideas for everything from home decorating to how we could all make the world a better place. I shall ALWAYS treasure the time we spent together and I look forward to seeing Carole soon in heaven as scripture in 1 Corinthians 15:52 says “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.” She, as a strong Christian, no longer suffers and is with Jesus Christ for all of eternity! Fortunately, death cannot take our lovely memories of Carole, forever young, my precious friend whom I shall always love!
