My Father will always be the best man I ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was a very hard worker. And had very strong beliefs in the Union he was apart of. I have so many memories of the times I spent with him growing up. He became extremely ill years before he passed away in 2005. His Grandchildren were his motivation too continue living. Days before he passed away he told me he was at piece with dying. I remember my Dad calling me at work. And asking me to please come home and call him an ambulance. He did not want to take any clothing or personal items with him. As he got on the ambulance gurney. He looked at me and without using any words. His eyes told me that he knew it was the last time he would be leaving home. My Father passed away 2days later.
