Casimir Zabik is the son of John Jan Zabik (1882-1954) and Josephine Tofel (1889-1961). He was born on either January 13 or 15 of 1913 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and he had siblings Stanley S (1907-1958), Walter Conrade (1909-1987), Lottie (1911-2000), Jean G (1915-2004), Edward V (1917-1991), Stephen (1920-1992), Alice Rosa (1923-2018), and Josephine Zabik (1926-2002). They grew up in Hamtramck, Wayne, Michigan, USA. On May 29, 1937 he married Eleanore Malkowski (1913-2010) in Hamtramck. They had a daughter named Karen Mary Zabik (1946-2022). Casimir enlisted into the US military on October 7, 1943 and served until October 28, 1945.
