Catherine Shanks of Wangaratta Australia was born in 1864 to Rose Ann Mcaliece Mylrea and James Clarke Shanks. She had siblings Anne Shanks, Richard Faulkner Shanks, William Johnston Shanks, David Shanks, Alfred Shanks, Victor Earnest Shanks, Victor Ernt Shanks, Sarah Jane Woods Mylrea, and Mary Whitecross. Catherine Shanks died at age 90 years old in 1954 in Wangaratta.
