Celia Grisham was born on October 10, 1830 in Smith County, Tennessee United States to Joseph G. Grisham and Nancy White (Overton), and had siblings William Pryor Grisham, Martha Patsy Grisham, Nancy B. Grisham, James Watson Grisham, Timothy Nelson Grisham, and Joseph "Joe" C. Grisham. She married William C. Wade, and had children James Wade, Nelson Wade, and Mary Jane Wade. Celia Grisham died at age 73 years old on August 7, 1904, and was buried in Pea Ridge.
