Charles Alexander Hopkins was born in 1875 in Peterborough, Peterborough County, ON Canada to William James Hopkins and Isabella (Alexander) Hopkins, and had siblings Joseph Pennington Hopkins, Helen (Hopkins) Poulson, William John Hopkins, Ada Isabella (Hopkins) Humpage, Annie Hopkins, and Martha Jane (Hopkins) Goodwin. He married Mary Jane (Akey) Hopkins, and had children Charles Henry Hopkins and Lillian Angeline Hopkins. Charles Hopkins died at age 32 years old in 1907 in Peterborough, ON.
