My Grandfather
Charles Christ Wittmaack was my grandfather. I was the oldest of his 9 grandchildren. Some of my fondest memories are him dancing with me when I was only 3 or 4, helping both him and my grandmother with the garden and then harvesting the lemons and tomatoes, and at 16 years old teaching me to drive a 4 speed transmission ... it was scary!
