Info on my Dad's death and relatives:
Charles L. (Chuck) Moorehouse, 77, Gladstone, MO, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2004. Born on 4-4-1927. His parents are James and Irene (Owens) Moorehouse of Joplin, Missouri. Chuck graduated from High School in Carthage, Missouri. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 25 at Mt. Moriah Terrace Park, with burial to follow in White Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, October 24 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Grace Hospice. Chuck was born April 4, 1927, in Joplin, MO, to James and Irene Moorehouse. He lived in California for several years, working at Board Ford, and after moving to Kansas City, he worked for Raytown Nissan Body Shop, retiring in 1989. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Louise Pruitt, Shirley Flowers, and Betty Barlow, brothers Jack and Freddie, and his first wife, Pauline. Survivors include his wife Josephine Moorehouse; adopted son Gary; adopted daughter Patricia; stepsons Doug and Greg Johnson; brothers James, Lonnie, and Roy Moorehouse; sisters Charlene Severn, Mary Jean McCombs, and Helen Stiffler; several grandchildren; and one great granddaughter (Alexis Ford-Grass).
