Charles Neal Besha is the child of Florence Frances Fitzpatrick (1894-1976) and Herman Joseph Besha (1888-1946). He was born on September 17, 1918 in Watertown, New York. He had one brother named Thomas Herman Besha (1920-1981). He married Ruth Priscilla Yerden (1911-2000) and they had Kathleen Dale Besah (1947-2020). He was also father to Christopher N Besha (1950-1980) but unsure if this child was born to Ruth or a different mother. He was a veteran of World War II and enlisted on February 18, 1942 and served until he was discharged on August 26, 1945. Charles Neal Besha passed away on August 15, 1990 in Los Angeles, California.

Charles was born in Watertown New York, and lived in Brownville and Manhattan New York. Later in life he moved to Los Angeles California where he would spend the remainder of his life.

Charles enlisted on February 18, 1942 in Ft Niagara Youngstown New York (Military serial#: 32234673). His terms of enlistment were, "Enlistment For The Duration Of The War Or Other Emergency, Plus Six Months, Subject To The Discretion Of The President Or Otherwise According To Law". He was a veteran of WWII. Charles was discharged on August 26, 1945.

At age 21, he was working in a bowling alley in Watertown, Jefferson, New York and later in life worked as a carpenter.
